Six Outstanding Ways to Overcome Failure
Failure is an inevitable part of the journey towards success. In the face of setbacks and challenges, how we respond can make all the difference
Are you wondering what’s next now that you have a website?
I always tell our clients that having a website is like having a house. No matter how beautiful and big it is, people won’t know where it is unless you share the address and they won’t visit unless they’re invited. And once invited, some may decline unless you’re offering what they want or need.
Sharing Your Web Address:
Are you wondering why people aren’t visiting your website? Perhaps it’s because you aren’t sharing it with people as much as you should. I’ve come across folks who didn’t visit their own website for almost a year. How can you expect people to visit your website, when you don’t even visit it yourself? How are you gonna know what should be updated unless you frequently visit yourself. In order to generate traffic to your website, you must share it with as many people as possible; especially those interested in what you are offering.
Where Should You Share Your Website?
There are many ways that you can share your web address. You can share your web address in your social media posts. I am always amazed when I come across a social media posts about services or products being offered without a link directing people to where they can buy it. Doing that is almost like inviting people to your house without giving them the address. Another way that you can share your website is by incorporating it in your email signature. This method can be effective, especially if you communicate a lot with your clients/customers via email. Finally, you can include it on your printed material. After applying the three suggestions mentioned above, you still need to be patient. Congratulations on your new website!
